When a client request comes in, I want to enrol them in a sequence of internal tasks to ensure their request gets handled promptly.
This sequence does not have any email actions, yet I cannot enrol someone who has unsubscribed to emails. Fair enough if I was planning to send an email, but seeing as its just internal tasks it should be fine to enrol them. Glad of comment from Hubspot team, or any one with a workaround?
Hey @GMD sequences are designed as an email outreach tool specificially, task creation in sequences is just a byproduct of making emails more efficient. The automation tool within HubSpot is actually workflows you’ll need access to workflows to create tasks and other automation elements. As long as you’re not emailing them the unsubscribe status won’t make a difference to the contact in workflows.
