Definitely needed! As a minimum Admins need to be able to take over Ownership of views for Removed Users.
This is a fantastic idea and one which we need despritly. I work for a small charity and when setting up HubSpot I was frustrated by the fact that I could not set up views for my team and then reassign/work colaboritively on them. Please fasttrack!

This would be a very nice tool to allow at least super admins, not sure how it would effect the total. You can however, view the other person view take a screenshot of the filter settings then remake. Save the rule, then delete the other persons rule.
Maybe creating, a new user and dedicate this user to create all the views.

Adding my +1 as this is a need for cleaning up views/properties made by former users
As a partner, we create views for our clients and want to be able to assign them to the right manager. We need to be able to change filter view ownership. Right now, I create them, have the right manager copy the filter and then I delete the one I created. Not slick.
+1 for this. Huge hole in Super Admin permissions to not manage Views.

The Dashboards already function in this fashion, in that User A can create and edit a dash and then pass over the ownership to User B with just one click.
So I’d wager this functionality can be reproduced with the Views, but it is probably a different HubSpot team in charge, if only they’d bother to notice this thread

I spoke with another super admin who would love to be able to edit other users’ views, particularly if a property that needs to be deleted is used in a view someone else created. If you have Enterprise or above, you could try logging in as the user who created a view and go to the view to see if you’re able to edit (which you should be able to see under the All views tab within Contacts>Contacts, Contacts>Companies, Sales>Deals, etc.): Log in as another HubSpot user
The super admin I spoke with was also able to hover over a view on the object index page (in this case Contacts>Companies>All Views>search for the view) and click the More dropdown and access the Delete option. That could be a workaround in the event you need to delete a view that contains a property that you’re trying to delete if the user who created the view is no longer with the company.
We certainly want this as well! We had someone who helped us with onboarding with HubSpot a few years ago who built all our views. Now that we have gotten our processes more ironed out, we want to make some changes to the views, but we can’t. The onboarding help that we had is no longer with our company, so we can’t edit those views.
For the way it is now, I have to clone the views and have everyone in the company remove the old views and add the new ones, instead of just making a simple change and hitting save. I am a super-admin for our Hubspot account, so I was hoping I could override and make the changes to the current views in order to avoid this, but unfortunately, I can’t.
Please make this change to make it easier to make changes to views! Thank you!

I’m trying to update a property from single line text to drop-down value. I removed the data/value on all records and now went into removing it from the assets too prior changing the type.
Lo and behold, I too run into this issue that I as a Super Admin cannot update a view as it is read-only to me. So I will have to resort to just deleting views.
Mindboggling.

Just here to repeat that making them editable would hugely increase the value of views. My sales team prefers these over active lists as there’s a lot more flexibility and easy ways to further play with the data. This would really be beneficial for better collab between marketing and sales.
How is this not already possible?
