Description:
Currently, the Conversations shared inbox in HubSpot only displays relative timestamps (e.g., “2 days ago” or “3 minutes ago”) in the list view. This makes it difficult to quickly identify the exact send/receive time of emails without hovering (which doesn’t work reliably in all browsers) or opening each conversation.
Proposed Enhancement:
Add a setting in the Conversations inbox that allows users to choose between:
- Relative time format (default)
- Full date + time format (e.g., “2025-08-15 14:32”)
This could be applied globally per inbox or as a personal user preference.
Benefits:
- Improves efficiency by eliminating the need to hover or open conversations for timestamps
- Aligns with professional email client standards (Outlook, Gmail, etc.)
- Reduces confusion when reviewing older conversations across multiple time zones
- Supports compliance and auditing workflows that require precise communication timing
