Currently, HubSpot workflows do not support copying or replicating associations from one custom object to another. This limitation creates operational inefficiencies, especially for businesses using multiple custom objects in related processes.
Proposing Solution: Add a new workflow action or expand custom code capabilities to:
- Copy all associations of a specific object type (e.g., Contacts) from one record (e.g., Account) to another (e.g., Escalation or Red Flag).
- Optionally, allow this to be filtered by association labels, types, or property conditions.
Impact:
This feature would:
- Reduce the need for custom-coded workarounds or external API calls.
- Improve automation efficiency and data consistency.
- Empower non-technical users to create more powerful workflows across custom objects.
