raising this for a customer here.
Some customers have their own external video integrations, such as Wistia, and they would like to be able to insert videos from those sources.
Currently, HubSpot only allow embedding of videos from Vidyard for 1:1 email, which is very restrictive for our customers.

It never ceases to amaze me how HubSpot, despite its user-friendly platform, falls short in certain aspects. For instance, I’m puzzled by Vidyard being the sole video insert option in HubSpot email templates. Vidyard isn’t even primarily considerd a video hosting platform. Vidyard is a video email marketing solution like BombBomb, and my favorite, Dubb.
I’d love to see HubSpot accomodate Dubb, but more importantly, it should accomodate specific video hosting platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Wistia.
There is a marketplace integration for Dubb, you just don’t access it in the same way you access Vidyard. The chrome extension itself includes access to videos that you’ve created and allows you to copy and paste them directly into 1-1 emails and workflows.
Not sure on how to insert videos from Vimeo, Wistia, or YouTube thought.
