1. Where are you looking to embed your HubSpot dashboard?
We have an internal portal where we try to make certain reports available across the organisation.
2. What actions should be allowed within the embedded dashboard? (Should it just be static, or should it allow filtering? Drilling down into the report? Navigating to a HubSpot contact record?)
We would probably be fine with either static or basic filtering. We don’t really need drill-down or linking into HSPT, since the purpose of embedding would be to provide summary data to non-HSPT users within our organization that is up-to-date and automatic (as opposed to someone from customer teams having to copy this data into an Google Sheet on a regular basis). We could export data from HSPT to a data warehouse and report from it there, but then the HSPT users that might want the “full featured” version of this report would need to switch tools to build the report, and we would then need to have linking back to HSPT. Just being able to embed a report in an internal system would be great.
3. What security measures (if any) are you expecting with this feature?
The server hosting the portal should generate a token/nonce used to authenticate against the HSPT service. Workload Identity Federation is the most ideal solution here, having the portal server process use it’s identity from AWS/Google/Azure to identify itself with HSPT (see how GitHub does this with Actions). This alleviates the need to rotate credentials, etc. However, if there were a pre-shared key that can have a set expiration that would be used to generate the token/nonce. With this method, the embed would only be served to users of our portal and couldn’t be shared externally, without requiring full SSO for non HSPT users in our org. If we had to go the full SSO route, we would probably want to talk about some kind of “limited report viewer role” for these users and ensure that the per-seat cost is deminimus.
Completely agree, and something our old manual system in Smartsheets was able to do. Need the ability to embed HTML reports and dashboards, ASAP!
If this opens up to a beta, our clients would love to take advantage of this new capability.

Static would work, but filtering would be perfect as long as web users can’t drill down into private, individual user data - What security measures (if any) are you expecting with this feature?:
Protect user data so web users can’t view or pull private data from the displayed report

My team would find this to be a valuable feature. We’ve created a report showing the results of a feedback survey showing where the user first saw us (email marketing campaign, web search, advertisement, etc.). We would love to be able to embed the report into an internal site we use company-wide. This would allow any employee, regardless if they have a HubSpot account or not, to be able to see view these reports.
+1. I have my reports in Notion, and it would be such a time-saver for me and everyone else if I could embed HubSpot reports directly using an HTML code snippet (or through a direct integration with Notion)
This would be incredible to set up for a central place to share our company stats with everyone instaed of just the team in HubSpot.
Would love for my team members who do not have hubspot accounts see dashboard information to better understand business strategy and priorities. This would be great if we could embed a dashboard (or even single report visualization) into a sharepoint page.

We want to embed important reports in our internal Confluence instance so that we can share dynamically updating reports in the same place as all our internal wiki details. e.g. a table of clients and their deal owners so people know who to contact for getting stuff done on an account - What actions should be allowed within the embedded dashboard? (Should it just be static, or should it allow filtering? Drilling down into the report? Navigating to a HubSpot contact record?)
Being able to sort columns in tables would be helpful (A->Z, Z->A etc) so you can find what you need faster. - What security measures (if any) are you expecting with this feature?
Zero, it’s for a log-in only place
I would use this feature for our SharePoint Online Client-Sites, that could help so much to update all stake holders.
