Everything looks great on computer and GMail. But on the Apple Mail app it comes out like this all compressed together. Is there a way to fix that? I saw a thread posted in 2024 about this and it seems it’s still an ongoing issue.

- Before sending out emails, utilize HubSpot’s in-app email testing feature to preview how your email will appear across different clients, including Apple Mail. This can help identify and rectify formatting issues proactively. HubSpot Blog
- Copying content directly from applications like Microsoft Word can introduce hidden formatting that may not render correctly in all email. Instead, paste content into a plain text editor first to strip any extraneous formatting before adding it to your email.
- If your emails appear compressed, consider adding manual line breaks or adjusting the paragraph spacing within HubSpot’s email editor to ensure adequate spacing in Apple Mail.
Hey @ocdetail this is definitely the same issue I had. You just gotta clear formatting! Then make the formatting how you want, and everything should be good to go.

Indeed, this occurs when text is copied and pasted into the email editor.
It’s best to clear any sort of formatting or type directly into the editor to avoid bringing over any sort of formatting.
This is due to the way that Apple Mail renders the email, not due to the way that our templates are built.

Caching issues can sometimes cause this problem. Try clearing the cache and cookies in your iPhone’s browser to resolve any related issues. Additionally, test the email template on different iPhone devices to determine if the problem is specific to a particular device or browser.
If the issue persists, could you please share the code for the email with us?
