We recently migrated to the new Shopify Data Sync and with that, our orders now come through as Cart Objects (instead of Deals like they used to). With that, we’ve pretty much lost our Email Revenue Attribution Tracking/Reporting within the Email Marketing Tool. Thru Support, I’ve only gotten ridiculously tedious workarounds rather than a clean method to get our reporting back. We utilize Hubspot, Shopify, and GA4 to get a general conclusion of where our revenue came from since they each have their pros & cons.
Has anyone else who’s migrated to the new data sync found a good, clean way to get their revenue reporting back?
Seems like Hubspot jumped the gun a bit to release the new cart objects feature if you can’t do something as simple as report off of that object.
Hi @KNewkirk !
I also updated to a shopify new app and I get orders in shopify sync as orders in HubSpot (You should also have that option) - What I did was creating a workflow that triggers when a new order is created from Shopify to create a deal record and place it in the pipeline we have designed for our e-commerce (Which is a deal pipeline)
That way we have work it out effectively.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you want further detail on how I builded the workflow.

Yes, I misspoke, I meant the Order Object (also been dealing with new Abandoned Cart workflows so had the Cart Object on my mind!). If you could share how you built that out, I would great appreciate it!
Thanks!
@KNewkirk sure, I’ll share below the workflow image and screenshots - If you have any further questions feel free to schedule a free consultation here: https://meetings-eu1.hubspot.com/carolina10/hubspot-consultancy
