Email Reporting - Marketing Email vs. Manual Emails

Hi all - I have searched through the other posts on email reporting but have not yet found a solution to my question, which is a very basic one. I’m hoping someone will have a simple solution for me that I have just been overlooking.

I am wondering if there is a way to differentiate manual emails from marketing emails when reporting on my sales teams’ activities. By “manual email”, I simply mean any email that was not created for any sort of marketing campaign or automation. For example, let’s say one of my sales reps sends an email to a lead just to check-in and manually sends it out (whether it was from an email template or not). We do use the Gmail integration if that may be of any importance.

There are only 2 or 3 options of pre-created activity reports on email, but they seem to report on either marketing emails only, or a mixture of marketing and manual emails, which means that I have no way of differentiating the two.

Is there a report I am missing that I can use going forward or a specific way to filter an activity report that could help me differentiate these 2 different types of emails, or report on them both separately? Thanks in advance for any input.

Did anyone ever figure this out?
