email replies going to my outlook 365 and not registering in hubspot

so I have just started trying out hubspot. I sent and email to a customer from within hubspot and:

- I got a reply to my work emails inbox

- hubspot says it hasnt been opened

- Hubspot didnt know that a reply was sent

- I had to cut and paste the reply back into hubspot and reply to it that way

surely this cant be how its suposed to work!?!

Getting email opens, clicks and replies to log correctly in the CRM require some care. If you meet the conditions for replies to automatically logged in the CRM, everything else should work. You can check those conditions here: Do email replies get recorded in the CRM?
