It is very difficult to measure the impact of updates to automated emails without the ability to see Open Rate/CTR/Time viewing email over time.
Rather than create a new email every time I want to experiment with a new subject line or body copy in a nurturing email, I want to be able to update the existing email and look at the Engagement Over Time chart to see how my update impacted our metrics. I’d need to be able to group dates by day/week/month/quarter/year and choose the time horizon. Open/Click Volume doesn’t do anything for me because we send different volumes of emails depending on how many leads we’re generating at a given point in time.
It would aso be great if you could annotate the chart to record when specific changes were made to your emails and why. HubSpot could even automatically annotate the chart: “Changed subject line from X to Y at 08:33:33 on 09/23/2020” with the option to update the annotations with your own notes. And I’d still want to be able to add my own annotations for changes that happen outside the email settings itself (i.e. “Updated workflow to include a weekend time delay to see if weekday sends increase open rates”).
