Email notification when ad lead sync connection is disrupted

We recently ran into a situation where our LinkedIn-to-HubSpot lead sync silently broke. Leads were still being captured on the LinkedIn side, but they weren’t making it into HubSpot. Nobody on our team knew until we happened to catch it manually.
The only way to know something is wrong right now is to check the Ads dashboard (Marketing > Ads) and look for an alert banner. But if you’re not actively checking that page, you’d never know the sync dropped. We confirmed with HubSpot support that there’s no email or push notification option for this.
It would be really helpful if HubSpot could send an email notification to the portal admin (or a configurable list of users) whenever a LinkedIn lead sync connection is disrupted. Token expirations and authentication issues happen from time to time, and without a proactive alert, leads can sit unworked for days before anyone realizes something broke.
This is especially important for teams where the person managing ads isn’t in HubSpot every day, or for agencies managing campaigns on behalf of clients.
