Email notification when a contact clicks on a link in a template email sent

Hello everyone, for a targeted communications campaign on a small group of users, a salesperson will have to send personalized emails recalling templates created on Hubspot and would need to be automatically notified via email when one of the users receiving the emails clicks on one of the links (snippets, documents but also simple hyperlinks) present in the text (they can be links to files such as catalogs but also links to website pages, also hosted on Hubspot).
Is this something that can be done with a workflow?

Hi @MColombo,

HubSpot can notify a user if any sales email to a group of contacts is clicked by a contact (and also by whom), but this cannot be limited to specific emails. Other than marketing emails, where a marketing email is one asset, each individual sales email is a separate asset.

For such a workflow, you could use this property for enrollment:

Recent sales email clicked date (Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise only** the date of the last time that the contact clicked on a sales email.

… along with filtering for list membership, to restrict enrollment to just the relevant contacts.

You would then, in a contact-based workflow, simply add an action for an internal email notification.

Keep in mind that there are also out-of-the-box notifications for this which might be easier to use: View sales notifications in the activity feed

Best regards!
