Email buttons to automate responses

Hi there. We’re pretty new with HubSpot and still using the free tier. We’re a small PR and comms agency and use HubSpot to send oress releases amongst other things.

We’d like to add three buttons to outgoing messages we send - Yes, I’m interested. I’ll file this for later and I’m not Interested.

When someone clicks the button for “Yes, I’m interested” it creates and email with the ubject pre filled in so they can easily contact us. For the other buttons, we’d get emails with approrptiate subjects fill edin.

I can create the button with the address but how do i create a custom subject for each button?

Thanks

Hi @AnthonyCaruana,

This can be achieved using a mail to link generator like this one.

Two things to keep in mind:

  • If someone’s not interested, they will probably not click a button. In case they do, it’s nice that you’re offering the button.
  • HubSpot’s CTA tool sometimes doesn’t work well with custom mailto links. I’d recommend testing your emails in multiple clients and check whether they’re behaving like you’re expecting.

Best regards!

Thanks for that. It seems that the ability to create a CTA is not part of the free tier - or if it is, I can;'t find it.

Cheers

Hi @AnthonyCaruana,

You should be able to access CTAs within the drag and drop email editor: Add a CTA (legacy) to your HubSpot content

If that doesn’t work, you should always be able to include custom HTML in a text module by clicking this icon:

By clicking this, you can access the source code of that text module and add your own CTA HTML. You could use a generator for CTAs here as well.

Best regardS!

I am facing a different issues with eamil account when ever I log in my account they send me an email that tells you can not post or do any acticity on the forum what is its meaning?

Hi @KCafe,

Is this related to the original query? If not, I’d recommend creating a new thread and including a screenshot of the error message that you’re receiving.

Best regards!
