When creating a contact or deal, most fields you can type then Tab between the fields to speed up data entry.
When you get to the State field, it is a dropdown field that requires you to take your hands off the keyboard, click on the dropdown and then you can type to quickly find the desired item.
Most online forms allow you to tab to dropdown and an entered key will begin a search without the extra click. Please consider inserting this as a function.
