Currently I’m migrating emails from Pardot into hubspot, i copied the HTML to have them exactly as they where origianlly but now in order to edit anything in the body of the mail i have to go back to the code and not everyone in my team is familiar around HTML coding, is there any way to edit using the drag and drop funcitons or directly into the email text without touching the code again?
You can do this in other CRMs and I think its a huge gap hubspot has, where would be a good platform to suggest this upgrade or is there a workaround for this issue?
Hi @DMorales8,
Thanks for reaching out, and providing your feedback!
You can add drag and drop areas to a custom page template, however as our help docs indicate, drag and drop areas can’t be used in blog post and email templates at this time.
A workaround to consider is to save a drag and drop email as a template so that it can be used in the future!
I found this idea that is currently in planning to create personalized drag and drop email templates. I recommend providing your feedback there, as well as following the idea to stay up to date on the status of its development.
Best,
Kristen
Hi Kristen, thanks for answering.
I had tried what you suggested but there are certain limitations to what you can do with drag and drop, hence the Coding, what worries me is that some clients might not be able to edit or adapt those templates without the option to edit a mail built in HTML with the drag and drop or at least front facing email editing tools.
Anyways, I checked the idea you mentioned and found they also are requesting this sort of funcionality for the tool so im hoping we get some update sometime soon.
Thanks a lot
