Editing Form info after submission

Hi there, We have set up a form that is capturing information brilliantly for a competition we are running. We have had one of our entrants ring and advise us of a change of details. Is it possible to change the data of the form submission? Many thanks

Hi @KWilliams75,

The submission itself cannot be updated but you can update the value of a specific field that was updated by the submission: Edit a property value for a record

As long as you don’t export the submissions but the field values itself, you would then have the latest version of those updates: Export your records

Thank you. Just to check - if I want to export the field values of contacts who have completed a form submission, do I need to create a list first? Thank you

@KWilliams75 not necessarily, you can filter the contact index page directly by form submission: View and filter records

Thank you. Am I still about to produce an export of individual form submissions if they have been made by the one contact?

@KWilliams75 no, if that’s your goal it might be easiest to delete the existing form submission and have the contact (or you, on their behalf) resubmit it. If you do, make sure that there isn’t any unwanted automation triggering (e.g. follow-up email).
