Editing Follow Me settings in Global Group

I am currently working in the Design Manager Beta and have come across a problem. We have several branches of our organization using hubspot, so there are MANY social media accounts connected. When I initially set up a Follow Me module in global group for my branch, I was able to connect it to my braches’ social media. At some point, the Follow Me module has defaulted to what I’m guessing is a generic module (possibly when I converted to the Design Manager Beta). Now the Follow Me module for my branch shows social media icons we do not use, and links to other braches’ social media.
I found this blog that indicates I should be able to have all sorts of options for customizing this module ([In Beta] An Improved, More Dynamic Follow Me Module), but I have no interface like the one pictured in the article, despite being on the new design manager. All I get is this:

Never mind. I was able to figure out the issue and find a work-around.

Short A: Correct. (by design)

Longer A:

You’ll need to clone the Follow Me module in order to have the options you seek.
