Each year, my firm develops a report on our social media engagement. To help identify which region and what topics are doing well, we need to tag all of our Social Media posts to a Campaign. Unfortunately, we sometimes forget to do this and have to go back, after the fact, and tag all those posts that were not initially tagged.
Right now, there is no easy way to filter posts on-screen to see only those that have not been tagged.
What I am looking for is for a new feature under Campaign that allows you to select Blank (to use a term from Excel filtering). Or select those posts with no campaign selected.
Thank you for your consideration.
Can you explain this more ?
I’ve provided a screenshot below to illustrate what I’m trying to accomplish.
In Marketing > Social, in list view, I can see a listing of social media posts. The last column (Campaign) includes information about whether the poster tagged the post itself to a campaign. If no campaign was tagged, the field is blank.
I would like to be able to filter or sort so that I can see only those posts where no Campaign has been entered. The end result is that I, or others, need to tag each post to a campaign because we produce a social media outcomes report each year and use the information in Campaign to help drill down on posts by region, events, or campaigns.
Our issue is that we can’t allocate social posts to campaigns as a way of sorting for reporting because they can only be assigned to one campaign. For example, if I want to assign a product launch post to a campaign, it will be a full campaign (across email, socials, leads, etc.) for that launch. I want to TAG or LABEL a social post so I can report on what posts do best, i.e. events, products, company, educational.
I currently use a lot of manual repetition in my monthly reporting and I am trying to push my peers to use HubSpot for more reporting elements, however I am restricted with this feature missing. We want to see how each type of post is performing. My manual reports can be sorted by posts topics - i.e. product, company, national days, events. There is no workaround for me to set this up and I’m sure it wouldn’t be difficult to build
please consider!
