e-invoice: in need of 3rd-party tools and workflow best cases

We just noticed that HubSpot doesn’t offer any e-invoicing features at all… -.-

Has anyone in this community already found a successful solution for this?

I’d be grateful for any advice or experience you can share!

My ideal setup would be:

  • We create the invoice entirely in HubSpot
  • We send the pdf to the tool which transforms into a valid e-invoice ( (preferably in ZUGFeRD format)
  • The external tool automatically sends out the invoice
  • It then sends the e-invoice back into HubSpot as a document
  • (Icing on the cake: the whole thing would then also be exportable as CSV)

Yes, HubSpot doesn’t natively handle e-invoices or ZUGFeRD formatting, so you’ll need an external layer for that. The cleanest setup I’ve seen is to keep HubSpot as the invoice trigger, then push the data to a third-party tool that formats and sends the invoice automatically. Tools like GetMyInvoices, Comarch, or Billwerk+ can handle ZUGFeRD conversion and delivery pretty well.
