Hello all, We are using the started version of Hubspot and currently need to update fields such as Lifecycle Stage and Lead Status based on another custom field. Is this possible? For instance, we have a custom field LemlistStatus, and if it is ‘Unsubscribe’ then Lead Status is ‘Disqualified’ or if Lead Status is ‘In progress’ then Lifecycle Stage is ‘SQL’ Thank you in advance. ---

Hi @Ants, While this is possible with workflows, yes, workflows are a Professional / Enterprise tier feature: [Create workflows](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/create-workflows) In the Starter subscription, this is unfortunately not possible. Best regards ---

Thank you for your reply @karstenkoehler . I was wondering if there is a workaround. With the Starter package, it seems like Deal Workflows, HubSpot Calculation and Deal Probability works. For instance, see below example from our CRM, it automatically sends this sample lead to the Qualified to Buy stage based on the probability as its 40%. I don’t know how did HS did it tho… Is there a way to edit these Calculations with the started pack? @Ants HubSpot of course runs some automation in the background, yes – but custom automation requires a Professional or Enterprise subscription. Workarounds would involve third-party automation solutions, like Zapier: [Use HubSpot's integration with Zapier](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/how-to-use-zapier-and-hubspot) If you want automation natively in HubSpot, you have to upgrade. No way around that, unfortunately. ---

@Ants there is no central place where these are listed. Some cannot be edited, some can. For example, there are settings which auto-update the lifecycle stage of a contact to opportunity once associated to a deal: [Use contact and company lifecycle stages](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/use-lifecycle-stages#set-up-automatic-updates-to-record-lifecycle-stages) If you have specific ones you’d like to know more about, let me know and I can let you know if there are settings or not. In any case, please take a moment and mark my replies as solutions if you find them helpful. I will of course continue replying.
