Dynamic Sending of Reports to those users/owners on the report

I am looking for a feature to send out a report to only the users/owners of the deals on the report. Dynamic receipients based on the content of the report.

For Example: Once per day I want a report generated on deals which are past their closure date. That report should be only sent to those users who are listed on the report. If the user doesn’t have any deals past the closure dates, then they don’t get the report.

I can easily create the report. I can easily create a schedule for it to run and email users. I can not get the system to only send the report to the users on the report.

I would really value this feature instead of a workflow triggering reminders, or multiple emails. I feel it is more useful to have a listing to work through, than individual tasks.

@JMcNeil1701You can achieve this by adding your report to a dashboard and then filtering your dashboard on a deal owner. You then can click on Share > Email this dashboard. You then can select the recipient, which in your case would be the deal owner you were filtering on. You then can select Send with current dashboard filters. You need to repeat those steps for every deal owner. Depending on how many deal owners you have, this might not be the most straightforward solution since it takes some manual steps and won’t be updated automatically if you add / remove deal owners. Still, this should help you achieve your goals on a smaller scale.
