I would love to be able to have a report module that can be used on both newsletters (more important) and why not on pages, too. The tool for editing could be essentially the same we are already having for creating custom reports.
The additional functionality should be some kind of “dynamic/personalisation filter” - that would take the recognized users ID or her company ID - and/or dynamic time range, dependent on the current date - or in some cases when I want to show just general data, the personalisation filter is not necessary at all. In emails the user is always available, on pages this is not always the case. So fully personalised (contact or company ID as a personalisation filter) module could have a fallback report that does not require the recognition (very useful on pages). When fully personalised reports are used, ID:s should be part of the report scope, directly or via associations.
This might also need some update to the property level access rights as well, “This data can be shown in the report modules”.
