Hallo @Angi,
Multi-language support available for Double Opt In emails
What is it?
Marketers and Admins can set up their double opt-in experience in multiple languages, if desired.
Why does it matter?
For marketers serving a global audience, set up your double opt-in confirmation email and pages in multiple languages to ensure contacts receive them in their preferred language, enhancing user experience and engagement.
How does it work?
To configure your double opt-in (DOI) experience, go to Settings > Marketing > Email. Under the Subscriptions tab, in the Double Opt-In Settings section, you can create multiple DOI confirmation emails, confirmation pages, and/or follow-up emails in any HubSpot-supported language.
Adding languages
- When enabling DOI for the first time, you’ll be prompted to create a primary (default) DOI language.
- Once the default language is set or if DOI is already enabled, you’ll see the option to add additional languages.
In the configuration wizard, you’ll be able to select different languages and then proceed to create or customize the different DOI assets.
You can customize your:
- Confirmation email
- Confirmation page
- Follow-up email (optional)
If you choose not to customize, a default template will be used. These are needed to help ensure a localized, end-to-end experience for contacts going through the DOI flow.
Note:
The language of your DOI email and confirmation pages is based on the form language the contact interacts with. If a contact submits a form in a language that does not match any of your DOI emails or confirmation pages, they will receive the default DOI language assigned in your portal settings.
Callouts & Omissions
There are no other changes to DOI behavior including when/how it is triggered, what values are stored, availability of DOI emails elsewhere in app, permissioning, support for other messaging channels, etc. These are under consideration for future improvements but are not included in this release.
Who gets it?
