Does linking to Hubspot DNS stop my personalized email?

So, here’s the background. I have purchased my own domain, and I also have a hosting for this domain. Right now, my domain nameserver is using my hosting name server, but my DNS is using hubspot. At my hosting provider, I created some email addresses using my domain name. so, for example, welcome@domain.com

I noticed though, that since I changed over to the hubspot DNS, my welcome@domain is no longer working. is this because of the DNS? or changing DNS does not somehow stop my email address i created with my hosting provider from working?

Hey @Tideas

to connect your domain properly to HubSpot

you should have followed this steps.

And then Take a look at this article to know how to properly set your email up

Be sure that you get your DNS authenticated and fully verified.

Another thing to consider it to use real addresses and not aliases .

PS: You could have some limitations if working with a free portal.

hope this helps

ah i doesn’t look like i get it with my free account
