We’re looking into a donor management platform that integrates with Hubspot. I see that Donorbox is a popular option. Does it integrate directly with Hubspot or would we need to use Zapier for the integration?
Hey @AClosson, thank you for posting in our Community!
I’ve checked and currently, Donorbox doesn’t have a direct native integration with HubSpot. To connect the two, you would typically use a third-party tool like Zapier for automation and data syncing.
I would highly recommend you to please post this idea at our ideas forum (here).
Kindly,
Pam
You’re correct @AClosson
Donorbox doesn’t yet have a native HubSpot integration.
Today, most teams connect the two via Zapier or a similar automation tool to pass donation data into HubSpot. It works, but it usually means maintaining Zaps, handling field mapping limits, and being careful with sync reliability
(Install apps in the HubSpot Marketplace)
If your goal is a more seamless connection, Donorbox’s help docs themselves point users toward Zapier for HubSpot workflows, so at this moment that’s the main out of the box option. Depending on your setup, you might also look at custom API work, but that often becomes heavy “integration plumbing” to maintain long term (2026-03 API reference - HubSpot docs)
Since you’re evaluating platforms, I’ll mention another path: Stacksync. We built it specifically to avoid the fragility of Zap style automations.
Instead of one-way pushes, it runs a managed two-way sync between systems in real time.
That means donations, contacts, and associations flow directly between Donorbox and HubSpot without manual webhook scripts or batch jobs. Teams use it to cut down on Zapier maintenance and keep data accurate for fundraising and engagement campaigns.
Happy to share a quick example flow if that’s useful.
Hope this helps.
