The advice is to bulk import as a note but i dont understand why we can bulk import activities of notes, calls and emails but not direct mail? It means my sales team have to manually update individual records rather allow me to bulk import against 50-100 records in a go.

I assume the product team needs to prioritize and up until this point, direct mail was not considered an urgent add.

A simple workaround is to import these as Notes and link each note to the right contact using the email address or contact record ID. That way, you can upload all 50 to 100 records at once instead of adding them one by one. I’d include something clear in each note, for example, direct mail sent and the date. Just make sure the contact matching column is correct before importing, so the notes do not end up attached to the wrong records.
