I’m looking to see if I can place a point-in-time graph on particular companies, specifically tracking changes in their employee count.
We need to track this for a particular contract.

This is unfortunately not possible in HubSpot, at least not out of the box. Reports will always show the status quo and not look back in the past. While you can review the history of a field like “Employee count”, this would not give you a graph: View a record's property history
If you need to track this, it would have to happen outside of company fields:
- Create a note on the company record and update this free text note with milestones in employee count changes. You can pin this for easy access: Pin an activity on a record
- Create an external file (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet) and link it on a company record, either through a custom property or note, for easy access. Then keep track of employee count changes there.
