HS have just updated their Import tool
There used to be an option to
- Not import contacts without email address
It does not look like there is this option any more
On my .csv file there are 20,000 contacts without email addresses that I DO NOT want to import to HubSpot.
Can anyone help?
Hi @mhumphrey
The easiest thing is probably to remove those rows from the csv file in Excel before importing it.
If you sort your data by the email column, all the rows with no email address should move to the top or bottom of the set. Then you can select and detele these rows - create a copy if you need to retain the original data.
Hope this helps.
Thanks @Phil_Vallender
Yes, I had thought the same could be a workaround. To be honest, I had been hoping for a setting within the Import process, as obviously this adds to the time needed to prepare the .csv file on a daily basis.
Do you think the checkbox for “Don’t import data in unmatched columns” would resolve it?
This is not a realistic workaround for people who need to import data on a regular basis. Can anyone else offer a solution that is automatic?
