# Do Form Submissions Count for a CTA Form

I setup a popup form on our website to highlight a new premium asset. The form triggers on our blog and invites users to click through to the asset’s landing page. Will hubspot register these clicks as a form submission on the form’s reporting details?  
I see 0 clicks on 47k views. So, I’m skeptical that no one clicked through to the asset. I suspect it’s a reporting mistake and I should have included a UTM code on the form’s CTA button.

Hey @Foxtrot91 no cta clicks won’t count as form submissions on a pop-up form. Only form submissions can be counted, so it would require a form to be on the pop-up. Since there is no submission you also can’t track a click through rate.

The CTA skips the second step (the form step) too, it just redirect to another page, so actually doesn’t currently capture clicks either!
