# Do Form API calls handle email validation?

We’re embedding a hubspot form into our web app for sign-up purposes. On our website, we use forms while enabling the “dont allow free email providers” check.

Is this same validation available via the forms API?

Hey @jkutay,

The [HubSpot Form API](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/forms/submit_form) does take in email validation.

If you’d like to skip the validation, you’d need to add the following to the parameters:

_“skipValidation”: {boolean}_
