We’d like to distinguish between Google and Bing in Hubspot under the ‘Paid Search’ Original Source by passing through a property that identifies the paid search source as either a Bing ad or a Google ad. Currently the Paid Search original source only identifies Google Ads traffic.
According to Hubspot, there isn’t a way to separate this currently - it’d be great to get this added to that we can start tracking the ROI of our Bing campaigns!
Same issue, perhaps different perspective:
“Paid search” should be a category, and separate from “source.” The rest of the world does not use Source this way. “Paid search” is analogous to a “channel” in Google Analytics (for example), which aggregates data from many *actual* sources.
That model seems pretty good to me. It allows me to honor the conventions of other tracking platforms and also segment my data for reporting the way I want it.
I’ve had to export Original Source = Paid Search.
And then use the property = First Referring Site and First Page Seen. (https://www.bing.com/ and then I can get First Page Seen.
A Bing integration would allow me to keep all of this work inside of HubSpot.
