I created a report on the cumulated number of customers with the following axis:
y-axis: count of companies
x-axis: became “closed” date of the associated deal
As upselling deals are defined as new deals, it might occur that there are >1 deal(s) per company. I set the aggregation filter on “count of companies” to “distinct count” to not double count companies which have more than 1 deal. However, the report still shows the same company several times in case there are multiple deals associated to it. How do I fix that?
Hi @PatEnergy,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
- Can you please tell us which data sources you selected in the report?
- Which one is the primary data source?
- What are the properties used in the report? Are they company and contact properties, right?
- Are there some properties that have a unique value for each record, and therefore appear as a different line on the report? If that is the case, that is probably why you are seeing the same company but several times, if this property value differs for each record, the system lists the records that meet the criteria of the filters of the report.
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation @GRajput, @deepikaverma and @Franci do you have suggestions to help @PatEnergy, please? If anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation
Thanks and have a lovely day!
Best,
Bérangère
Hi @BérangèreL, thanks for your help and referring to other experts on this matter! However, I luckily managed to solve this problem already. Best, Patrick
