Display whole dollars only in reports. No cents or decimal point.

My boss wants to view whole dollars only. No decimal point or cents. I saw an earlier post that implied that custom reports do not show cents. This is a custom report and I can’t figure out how to get it to display whole dollars only. My boss would like to see $5,191,525 and not $5,191,525.00.

Hi,

Right now, the number formatting options in the report builder are pretty limited, there’s no built-in way to force whole dollar display (without .00) for all visuals.

What some folks do: export the data to Excel or Google Sheets, then format the numbers there for internal sharing, clunky, but it works. If you really need it in-app, you can try a workaround with a calculated property (using a workflow or custom code) that rounds values, then display that property in your reports. But this can be a hassle for large or dynamic datasets.

While @LSchmidt63’s recommendation is the both the best solution and workaround we have regarding reporting in dollar amounts without decimals, we definitely hear you on feeling like your current set up is going to be best practice for now.
We might suggest posting the need for reporting on dollar amount values without decimal points and cents (or other features you’d like to see) in our Ideas Forum in the future! This space would allow for other customers to upvote the idea and echo the need to our Products Team! It actually looks like other customers have requested this need already (see here). Feel free to give it an upvote!

Thanks Shane. I upvoted the other user’s suggestion.
I have 2 other issues that are somewhat related:
1. I have several charts that show Deal Counts by stage. If there are no
Deals in a particular stage the stage doesn’t show up on the chart.
2. I would like to edit the chart legends.
Can you tell if these have already been requested so I can upvote?
