Disable Automatic Unenrollment in Sequences

Hello Hubspot team.

Any update on this ?

This is a great idea. For example, if a sequence is purely to enrol a contact once they’ve booked a meeting, currently if they reply to the sequence without booking a meeting, they’re unenrolled. There is no way to turn this feautre off. It doesnt make sense to me.

This is VITAL. We pay too much for the inconvenience of this currently. PLEASE fix this feature ASAP.

Is there a “super upvote” button?? This is one is particularly frustrating, since the setting ALREADY EXISTS!!! They just need to let us toggle the switch off!

bump bump agree with what everyone else is saying here - why have a toggle switch that’s impossible to toggle

We will have an update soon! There was a recent interview with the Product Manager of sequences on the HubSpot blog and I have asked if we can use the toggle. Fingers crossed I get an update next week. If I do, I’ll update here too!

Thank you so much for your follow up!

@SBell49 Any updates for us?

We need this feature as soon as possible as it drastically impacts the type of outreach we are doing.

+1 to this (it’s weird the toggle is there, but can’t do anything)

Absolutely needed

It seems like an easy fix to make this a toggle option. Do you want prospects auto-unenrolled when they reply, yes/no

Hubspot, please turn this off. It’s so simple to fix. OFF

HS Admins- lets upvote this and make it change ASAP!

Agree. At least have the option to.

And its silly that the button is there- Like we have the option- but we
cannot toggle this?
Come on HS Orange- lets update this!

One of the sequences we’d like to set up is intended to be used by our sales reps through the lead and deal stages - not for marketing purposes. A personalized, continuous sequence, like Microsoft Dynamics 365 offers, would make for a more seamless experience for our sales reps. We do not want the contact to be unenrolled from our sales sequence simply because they replied to an email or booked a meeting.

+1

we really need this.

This would be very helpful.

We have sequences where contacts often reply without completing the desired action — for example, acknowledging receipt, asking a clarifying question, or triggering an automatic out-of-office reply. As a result, these contacts are automatically unenrolled too early, before the follow-up process is complete.
