Hi
May I have misunderstood how Hubspot works when in comes to invoices. We are based in EU and we “just” want to create an invoice with the bank information on so our BtB customers can transfer the money. I dont need fancy payment links etc. I ahve setup a stripe account if that makes a difference. Is this possible?
Hi @MMesserschmid and welcome, it’s a pleasure to have you here!
Great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!
When looking at this article “Set up HubSpot payments”, I can see that HubSpot payments is available to companies based in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, and enables you to collect payments through credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and bank debits (e.g., ACH, SEPA, PADs, BACS).
Since you are based in the EU, you could instead Connect your Stripe account as a payment processor in HubSpot ; please double check for International availability, just to make sure.
I’d love to put you in touch with our Top Experts: Hi @RSchweighart, @danmoyle and @GIlievski do you have any tips to help @MMesserschmid, please?
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much!

Hi @MMesserschmid,
I am not sure I understand your question correctly but If you only want to “show” your bank details so that the customer use them so that they can transfer you the money via bank transfer through their bank, you can use the Comment section in an Invoice to insert your bank information. That is the only “convenient” place you can instert them.
Or you can also pull in custom properties to the invoices. You could create 1 or more custom properties and you can edit/add these in Settings > Objects > Invoices > Customization > Custom Fields.
In both cases you’d need to insert the bank info manually as you create each invoice. The comments option is easier I think because you could create a snippet with your bank information that you can quickly drop in.
HubSpot Invoices do not have much options for customization so the above is your best bet. This is the article that explains how they work, setup etc.
IF however you want to “charge” your clients directly from the Invoice you create and send through HubSpot, then the explanation and links from @BérangèreL is the way to go.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for your insights @BérangèreL and @GIlievski … I might just be “old school” but unfortunately so is our customers. They require an old fashioned invoice with the bank details that can be forwarded to their finance departments and I would like to avoid the risk of making mistakes copy pasting info every time I create an invoice. I did connect to Stribe but either I am not smart enought to set it up correctly or it does not support my workflow. It sounds like I have to do this in our accounting system and then manually sync to hubspot but that should also work with a bit of Zapier magic.
I wish although that Hubspot had a “dum” version that just allowed you to create and share invoices without all the bells and wistles
Thanks for your help!
Hi @MMesserschmid and thanks for getting back to us!
Thanks so much @GIlievski for the workaround! I will mark it as a solution since this can be helpful for other Community Members.
@MMesserschmid, I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: Integration with Stripe for Direct Bank Transfer option.
To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.
Thank you and have a great day!

Hi @MMesserschmid,
You should be able to update the invoice settings, so that each time a new invoice is created, it will be populated with the same comments.
