# Developer Projects Build Errors

Hello, I’m currently running into issues getting my project changes locally to my HubSpot account. When I do a deployment either via GitHub connections or via CLI, there would be deprecation warnings about SASS 2.0 and then finally an error which would fail the build.

`DEPRECATION WARNING: The legacy JS API is deprecated and will be removed in Dart Sass 2.0.0.`

I’ve done a sanity check and tried redeploying a previous build and get the same issue.  
Was there an update to the build pipeline that caused this issue or am missing something?

Hi Jaycee, I’ve reached out to the devs on HubSpot’s community Slack and they’ve troubleshooted the issue;  
The solution was moving vite from dependency to devDependency inside package.json
