deleting email

If an email is invalid, I would like it deleted. The system does not allow a delete when there is one email. Any work around?

Hi @gelflex-cc,

While you can delete the contact and import it without an email address, you would lose any historic data associated with the contact. You could always put in a holder email address as well.

@jennysowyrda thanks. since we are just setting up that might work for me. Instead of importing, I’ll just create again. There should be a way to delete bad email addresses even though it is the only one.

What do you recommend as a placeholder?

Thank you for your feedback around the ability to delete a contact record. I would recommend upvoting this idea in the ideas forum which discusses this functionality.

In regards to a placeholder, I would recommend using a pattern that makes sense to you and your team, as well something that stands out as a placeholder and not a valid email address. :slightly_smiling_face:
