I am trying to delete attachements from a deal and a company. When I delete these they get deleted from the relevant deal and company but I can still access the attachement on it’s original URL. How can I make sure the file is physically deleted forever?

Short A: It depends on your version of HubSpot. (we think)
Longer A:
If you have access to the Marketing → Files and Templates menu you’ll see a ‘Files’ menu there. That’s where you’ll find HubSpot-stored assets.

If not, you may want to engage support and ask them to delete the specific file. Make sure you include the file URL.

Hi, thanks for your response. I am using the free version but I would’ve thought that this is basic functionality that we should be able to physicaly delete a file and not just ‘soft delete’ it.
I do not have the menu options you talk about so I guess I need to engage support? How do I go about doing this? I can’t find a way to contact them directly. Please advise.

I mean the file can still be accessed from the following URLs:
“preview” url - File preview…
and also cdn url - https://cdnp.hubspot.net/hubfs/…
So it’s not actually deleted, only disassosiated from the relevant company.

Hi. What I am saying is if I delete an attachment then surely should be able delete it permanently, which is what my original questions was
