# Delete invoice INV-1001

Thank you for asking the Community!  
I can see in this article “[Create and manage invoices](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/invoices/create-and-manage-invoices)” that you can come back to a drafted invoice at any time to edit or delete it.  
However, once finalized, an invoice cannot be edited or deleted.  
I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: [Delete or void Invoices (don’t make mistakes permanent)](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Delete-or-void-Invoices-don-t-make-mistakes-permanent/idi-p/862331). To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.  
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @danmoyle, @JenBergren and [@Alex\_Elborn](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/73663) do you know of a workaround to help [@thomas-](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/748623), please?
