Delegation regulation

is there the possibility during absences that a colleague can take over the representation of my person? Background: I have companies and contacts assigned to me in HubSpot. I receive information from HubSpot when they visit certain pages, for example. I react to this information with activities. This should not be interrupted during my absence and I would like to define a deputy during this time.

Hi @DAden,

The easiest option here would be to simply change the ownership of the affected records – either by a manager if the person is on sick leave or by the person themselves before leaving for time off. Once updated, the new user will have access to those records and activities will also be attributed to them (emails, meetings, notes etc.).

You can find instructions for different ways of assigning contact ownership here: Assign ownership of records

At this stage, there isn’t a one-click-solution for this unfortunately. You’d have to change ownership of contacts first, then companies, then deals, then tasks.

Best regards

That does not work realy efficent as I have hundrets of these.

Hi @DAden,

There is a bulk editing option, see here: Assign ownership of records

You don’t have to edit your records one by one. You only have to filter for records assigned to you and then bulk re-assign them.

There currently isn’t a better option. (Don’t shoot the messenger.)

Best regards
