It would be great to have a delay answer in the chat bot in order to allow for sufficient time for something to happen in the background. In our use case I want to use an information provided by the chatter to go an look for data in another system. I use the hook to tricker the prices, but I am not an able to delay the bot answer enough for my proces to work. I write data back in a custom field and use that info to pass to the chatter.

yes, I’m also looking for this as usually when we ask a question people send several messages, but the bot goes to the next action right away after the 1st message.
So instead of:

Bot:

“Hey do you have a question?”
Audience:
Yes (enter)
I would like to know if (enter)
Is that possible? (enter)
Bot:
Continues the chatflow
It goes like this:
“Hey do you have a question?”
Audience:
Yes (enter)
Bot: Continues the chatflow
Audience:
I would like to know if (enter)

And then everyone gets confused if they don’t write the full answer in a single message, which is rare.
I was trying to set a snippet to delay it 20 seconds or so, but I’m not a code expert. Could anyone help?
To make it crystal clear: I’d like to add a snippet code to make the bot wait 20s seconds after it gets an answer, before resuming the chatflow.

I agree to this 100%, appears right now the only options are custom code.

I agree with this, it would be an extremely helpful addition!
