Hi, My name is Siti Auliyanti Nurbach, and I’m based in Indonesia.

I see RevOps as a way of bringing different teams, processes, and data together so everyone is working toward the same business goals. It creates better visibility across the customer journey and helps the company make more informed decisions instead of each department working in its own silo.

I hope to understand how RevOps works in practice, especially how companies can connect their people, processes, technology, and data to improve efficiency and customer experience. I also want to learn frameworks that I can apply to my current Finance experience and use as I explore opportunities in broader Business Operations and RevOps.

Here’s my take on Revops, It’s the act of following a revenue through why, how and where it came from to where, how and why it is being dispensed. Allowing to understand the reason behind the revenue and the reason behind why it is where it is, often leading to efficient cycle of growth.

This is a great question because I think it depends on your industry and your approach. To me Rev Ops is your data analytics driver. They create visuals for the team to use to be able to use to organize data in a way that is meaningful and impactful both for the client, the experience but also the internal team. They assist with adapting the visuals and communication with the help of the internal team - feedback, experiences (stories, and data) as well as forecast data - to form processes and procedures the whole team can get behind.

I define Revenue Operations as a strategic approach that aligns marketing, sales, and customer service across the entire customer lifecycle. Instead of teams working in isolated silos, RevOps breaks down those barriers by centralizing processes, data, and technology to create a seamless, predictable engine for sustainable growth.

Through this program, I’m most excited to gain practical frameworks for mapping end-to-end revenue processes, improving data visibility, and building scalable cross-functional strategies. As I step into my new role as Special Projects & Operations Strategist at SpectC Technologies, I’m looking forward to learning how to effectively prove the ROI of operational improvements and secure executive buy-in.

I think RevOps is a cross-functional approach that aligns Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success through shared data, processes, systems, and metrics. It gives the organization a consolidated view of the customer journey and revenue funnel, helping leaders identify bottlenecks, gaps, declining areas, and growth opportunities. A strong RevOps function also enables the organization to accurately evaluate the performance of different teams, campaigns, initiatives, and go-to-market programs, understand what is driving or limiting results, and use those insights to improve forecasting, reallocate resources, refine strategies, and make better data-driven decisions around revenue, cost, budget, and future planning.

How do you define RevOps? RevOps is the strategic alignment of marketing, sales, customer success, and operations to create a unified, efficient, and predictable revenue engine. It focuses on optimizing processes, improving data quality, strengthening cross‑functional communication, and leveraging technology and automation to remove friction across the customer lifecycle. At its core, RevOps ensures that teams operate from the same systems, the same data, and the same goals — driving scalable growth.

What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification?
I want to deepen my understanding of how revenue systems work end‑to‑end — specifically CRM architecture, pipeline design, workflow automation, and data hygiene. Coming from healthcare operations, I’m excited to learn how these concepts translate into a commercial environment and how RevOps uses AI, automation, and cross‑functional alignment to improve efficiency and predictability. My goal is to build the technical foundation needed to design scalable processes, diagnose operational bottlenecks, and support a seamless customer journey.
