Marketing Email Template settings allow us to select a specific user and name for the ‘From’ field - but it would be so helpful to be able to set a default sender email address for marketing emails.
The marketing team is engaging with prospects from one email address as sender and we have so many templates we use in our website. The team is changing the email address we set for the current templates, so this will require manual work from our side to update it all. A default marketing email address setup would update all templates that have that option selected in template settings
Yes, please! It may be difficult to code but it’s a basic safeguard. As someone who created a few dozen templates, I feel the pain—for the corporation and personally, especially if a recipient gets cheeky—when a production member slips up and an email goes out from “me” instead of the brand.
