I have deals created for companies but it does not pull in the contacts into the deal record. Is there any way I could automatically pull these contacts in for specific deal pipelines?

That depends on how you’re creating deals, for example:

  • when creating deals manually, you can select which companies and contacts to associate
  • when creating deals via workflows, you can choose to associate with contacts
  • when importing multiple objects at once, you can establish associations

In the user interface or settings of HubSpot there aren’t any options to associate deals and contacts automatically retroactively.

Once created, the only option to associate in bulk is either via API or via import. If you choose the latter, you would have to export deals and contacts, set up the files to reflect the association and import multiple objects while mapping the Record ID columns. (If you haven’t done this before, it’s painstaking and there is quite a high risk of error.)

Depending on the volume of records, doing this manually might be your best option.
