Hi all, in HubSpot you can associate deals with other deals. However, there is no way to report on this. Do you happen to know of a way to do this? We have created sample deals and are associating future deals to the sample deal and ideally, we would run a report by deal type and see the total of associated deals. I have thought of creating a new property called Deal Attribution and update the total based on attached deals, but there is no way to set up a workflow based on when a new deal association is made. Any help would be appreciated.

It IS able to activate a workflow actually, but I believe there is another problem after that.
When the number of related deals is updated, you need a code action or an external workflow triggered to retrieve all the related deals, calculate their total value, and update it on the main deal.
If you’re interested in learning a workaround for accomplishing this without Operations Hub Pro, send me a DM. I think I should avoid sharing it publicly.

If this is what you’re trying to do, it would be easiest to create a calculation property: Create calculation and rollup properties
This would return on each deal the number of associated deals. You can then use this in report-building.

I have the same issue of not being able to create a report that shows related objects. Specifically, I want a report that shows Records from Deals and the Associated Deal Records that have been established. I do not need to count the associated deal records. The output would look as follows:
Deal 1 Name, value etc… Related Deal 1A, Name, value etc.
Deal 1 Name, value etc… Related Deal 1B, Name, value etc.
This is out of the box functionality in Salesforce and I’m struggling to figure out how to do this in Hubspot. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you!
