This degree of customization in reports is unfortunately not available in free portals. You would need custom reports (Professional or Enterprise) and workflows (Professional or Enterprise).
(Explanation: If you want a report that shows all deals that have moved into another stage in a week, you would have to create a workflow that stamps combines these dates into one date property with a date stamp. By default they are stored in multiple properties and you cannot combine these with an or-operator in reports. After stamping the date of the latest update of any of the deal stages, you would use that to customize your deal report.)
In a free portal portal, a workaround could be filtered deal views (Menu > Sales > Deals > click More filters). You would create a filtered view for each rep and stage – manual and not ideal, I know. But you could save these for easy and faster access.
This is what the filters could look like for one rep/stage:
Hello @karstenkoehler !
I am trying to create a Report to reflect the DEAL STAGES changes per week: ie I need to see which Deals were moved to a specific DEAL STAGE (2 out of 8 total) within a time period (ie Previous Week).
First I tried to create a View in the Deals screen but the filter "Last Modified " did not work as it would include all the deals which were in a specific stage and had any kind of modification (ie an email was sent…)
So now I am trying to create a Report but if I read you answer here correctly I will first need to Create a Workflow for it?
I am stuck at the step where I need to create a Stamp with the modified date…could you help me with which steps I need to add? Or is there a better way to solve my problem?
THANKS
We thought using the Date Property - Deal - “Last Modified Date” might work but this is risky as I can only assume any modification (emails, taks, notes) would class as a modification.
That’s correct, if you want the Deal stage modification date only, that would have to be maintained with a custom property that is datestamped by a workflow.
