# Deal Split - restrict access

Is it possible to limit access to whom is able to activate deal split (inside each deal)?

Hi @CateDuarte,

Not at this stage, unfortunately. If a user has deal edit permissions, they can also split a deal. (If you’re referring to enabling/disabling the feature, that can only be done by a super admin.)

I think this is valid feedback and you could submit it to the [HubSpot Ideas section of the community](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/ideas). The product team reviews these posts by popularity.
