# Deal sections / sub-headers

We would like the ability to add sections / sub-headers to a deal. Please see attached graphic. The section / sub-headers would then be usable / visible in the quote template. Please note: Skipping the requirement of the sections being configured in the Deal is not an acceptable workaround. The functionality must exist in the Deal then get passed to the quote template.

There Is any alternative to solve this? may be possible to achieve with custom quotes?

@CNeira We already have a workaround in place using custom quote templates, but ideally the line item editor has the functionality baked in.

@nwcarlson We already implement same solution using custom quote templates
