I have created a new deal pipeline for marketing leads. But I am confused about the triggers.
1. I have contacts from a fair(form) or a exccel file. How can I have a trigger to put them into the first deal stage for this case?
2. If any contacts from the fair(from the first stage) interact with our website, then automatically put them into the second stage?
3. I have already contacted in my environment( 800) in different list and random contacts. I need them to put them into the first stage. Any suggestionson how to do it?
Generally, marketing leads should not directly go into deals, you may want to use the sales workspace for them first: Manage leads
In any case, addressing your questions below:
You would need to create a contact-based workflow here: Create workflows – this workflow would enrolls contacts from your import/list, then use the ‘Create record’ workflow action to create deals (or leads, see above).
This, too, would require a workflow. Which interaction exactly are you referring to?
The same directions as from step 1 would apply here.
Have a look, please provide a bit more context (especially 2) and let me know if anything is unclear.
1. Well, first, I want an automatic process. Because I’ll always have different forms for fairs. I don’t want to individually in each form always trigger it to get into the deal. Any process to get into WF with all the fair forms?
2. For the interaction, maybe they are on our application page or downloading a module guide from that page.
@SMomo it’s unfortunately not possible to reliably track this, unless contacts did submit a form or click through a marketing email in the same browser session after accepting cookies – and then interacted with the link.
If the above criteria are met, then you could build lists of contacts who click specific links – and use workflows to move the deals associated to contacts on those lists to your desired stage. It’s unfortunately not a process that scales well, also because HubSpot expects a form submission to happen in these cases.
